Burkett Kaiser...
"I'm a colorist. That's what I'm interested in and that's what challenges
me. There are effects painters achieve with color that can change one's
mood or state of mind. A painting that has good color harmony can create
a feeling of peacefulness and well-being. That's the elusive nature of
what I'm trying to capture in my work."
Born in San Raphael, California, S. Burkett Kaiser
educational experience includes a BA from the California State University
of San Diego as well as attendance to the California State Univeristy
at Northridge, the California Institute of Art, the Sergei Bongart School
of Art and outdoor workshops with Charles Movalli and Sunny Apinchapong
Yang.
S. Burkett Kaiser is listed in Who's Who in American
Art, a signature member of the California Art Club, a board member
of the California Art Academy and Museum, and an advisory board member
for Sennelier Oil Paints. With various publications in print and an
impressive host of International exhibitions, Teri Galleries is proud
